The Chicago Marathon

This coming Sunday, 10/13, tens of thousands of runners and spectators will flood the city to participate in the 2019 Chicago Marathon. We will be shutting off delivery to addresses that are located in areas that will be cut off by the race route during the times those areas are inaccessible.

Much of the areas north of The Loop should be re-opened by 2PM on Sunday. We do expect there to be residual delays and closures in The Loop as late as 7PM. This information could be helpful when planning your delivery routes. If you decide to go online in the area of the race, you can inform Caviar of any delays by reaching out to live support.

If you are a Courier who is interested in being assigned as many orders as possible, you can go online in one of our hot zones during the busy times of lunch (10-2) and dinner (5-9) this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
