Thank you for registering for the Caviar migration virtual town hall. We hope we addressed all of your questions about becoming a Dasher! Dasher Account Creation Process
You have until this Sunday, 8/2/2020 to opt-in to have a Dasher account created for you. Please see here for more details, and the link below to opt-in now.
Please note: if you already have a Dasher account, you can simply stop using your Caviar account on 8/24/20 and start using the Dasher app exclusively. If you choose to opt-in, you will receive an email in mid-August when your Dasher account is live. You can continue to use your Courier app through 8/24/20 if you opt in.
Follow Up Q&A
Thank you for your thoughtful questions before and during the town hall. We know we were not able to address every question, so wanted to provide some more info below:
“My Dasher account was deactivated. How can I become a Dasher?” If your Dasher account was previously deactivated, you can not use the opt-in process to have a new account created. You may be able to appeal your deactivation. Please reach out to DoorDash support for more information. Please see here for the deactivation policy.
“Will bicyclists and walking couriers be able to become Dashers?” Yes! You can continue to use your preferred transport mode.
“Can I still use my Caviar branded bags?” Yes! You can use any branded or non-branded bag (see below for more details on the flash sale happening right now).
“Can I reject red card orders?” You are free to accept or reject any order without penalty.

Now through August 5, you can get Caviar-branded bike bags for $16, pizza bags for $10, and tote bags for just $5! This is a great way to stock up on new gear before the busy fall season at a fraction of the cost.
