A little over a month ago, we announced the formation of the Voices from Dashers of Color Council, or VDC, and invited Dashers and Couriers to apply. In two short days, we received nearly 2,000 applications from passionate Dashers and Couriers, who wanted to share their experiences on the platform. These diverse applicants were unified by their desire to help improve the experience for Dashers and Couriers, especially Dashers and Couriers of Color, on the platform.
Today, we’re thrilled to share the 11 members of the first ever Voices from Dashers of Color Council. Last week, these 11 members shared their remarkable stories with the DoorDash and Caviar team. We look forward to sharing some of those stories, as well as the action plans that come from these conversations, in the weeks to come.
