Starting 6/27/2020, you will earn $2.50 in additional milestone pay for every completed delivery that either starts or ends in Seattle. You’ll see these additional earnings in the Earnings and Milestone tabs of your Courier app.
Why?
On 06/26/20, Jenny Durkan, Seattle’s mayor, signed City Council’s Premium Pay for Gig Workers Ordinance, which establishes premium pay during the COVID-19 pandemic for all gig workers in the food delivery network industries in Seattle.
