The City of New York has declared a citywide curfew, which limits non-essential movement after 8:00 PM local time. This curfew includes specific exemptions for essential functions, including food delivery. As a courier, you may continue to work in New York City after 8:00 PM should you choose to do so.
We have posted a notice in the notification center of your courier app that you may share with law enforcement if you are stopped while on a delivery, as well as copied that message below.
We will continue to watch for updates from both the local government and restaurants in the area, and we will follow any guidance we receive. We will alert you should we need to close down your area.
