As you know, we are working to provide couriers with up to date information, support, and resources as we learn more about the evolving Coronavirus situation. You can read more here, and Stride has created a resource guide for Independent Contractors, found here.
At this time, Caviar and DoorDash have made hand sanitizer and gloves available for couriers in the Seattle and Seattle Eastside service regions for free – simply pay shipping. Please use the email address associated with your courier account to order from the DoorDash online store.
Public health officials recommend regularly washing your hands with soap and water throughout the day; if soap and water is unavailable, hand sanitizer is considered a good alternative, and using gloves while on deliveries may help you stay healthy.
Please note that these supplies are increasingly difficult to come by. We’d like them to be available for the couriers who need them, so we ask that you please be mindful of that and not distribute this notice.
