Earlier this month, we announced that Caviar had been acquired by DoorDash. As part of this process, we have updated the Courier Occupational Accident Insurance policy. Starting December 1st, 2019, the following changes will take place:

New policy number: 216-002-382
To file a claim, call OneBeacon’s dedicated independent contractor claim line at 1-844-747-6224. Please be prepared to provide policy #216-002-382, along with your phone number, email address, and license number.
Accidental Death Benefit
- Previous policy: up to $100,000
- New policy: up to $50,000
Survivor’s Benefit
- Previous policy: up to $100,000
- New policy: up to $150,000
Minimum Weekly Benefit Amount for Temporary Total Disability Benefit
- Previous policy: $50
- New policy: $100
Minimum Weekly Benefit Amount for Continuous Total Disability Benefit
- Previous policy: $50
- New policy: $100
Any claims with an accident date before December 1, 2019 will still be under the previous policy and are not affected by this change.
