In the past weeks, Caviar has received multiple complaints from local residents on Bergen Street and Berg’n restaurant regarding people riding bicycles on the sidewalk. We’ve been asked to remind you that, in accordance with NYC § 19-176, riding a bicycle on the sidewalk is prohibited. As a courtesy and at the request of local residents, we wanted to make sure you were aware of this regulation and that the NYPD may take enforcement actions against people riding bicycles on the sidewalk.
