We will be removing the Manage Schedule section of the courier app this week. This means that couriers will no longer be able to voluntarily pre-schedule themselves throughout the day.
Couriers who deliver with Caviar have always had the freedom to go online whenever it was convenient for them, regardless of whether they chose to voluntarily schedule themselves.
However, we’ve received feedback that the voluntary scheduling feature was confusing and saw a decline in the use of the feature over time. We also saw that some couriers believed that couriers who voluntarily pre-scheduled themselves would be assigned more orders – which was never true.
While you will no longer be able to see the voluntary scheduling feature, you will still be able to view a breakdown of current and upcoming Peak Pay for each day on the app’s home screen. We will also share Peak Pay for the week ahead in the newsletter each Monday.
