Some Deliveries Now Offered Through The Dasher App
A portion of Caviar delivery opportunities have started to be offered through the DoorDash Dasher app.
What does this mean for you?
- At this time, you can still go online with Caviar to be offered delivery opportunities. You may not notice much of a change in how busy you are if you go online on the Caviar Courier app this week.
- If you already have an active Dasher account, you can start sourcing Caviar and DoorDash delivery opportunities through your Dasher app today.
- If you opted in to have a Dasher account created for you, you will receive an email from us in the next two weeks to let you know when you can access your account on the Dasher app.
How long will the transition take?
The transition of Caviar delivery opportunities being offered through both the Courier and Dasher apps to being offered solely through the Dasher app is expected to be complete in the next two weeks. Starting on 8/17/2020, you may start to notice that you are being offered fewer delivery opportunities on the Courier app. By Monday, 8/24/2020 all Caviar delivery opportunities will be offered on the Dasher app.
As always, we will use in-app notifications to inform you of demand spikes during the peak times of lunch and dinner. Going online in a delivery hot zone during those times is the best way to be offered as many delivery opportunities as possible.
If you missed the opt-in timeframe, you can sign up as a new Dasher at this link.
