Local Tids & Bits

New Restaurant Launch!!

We’re all about signing new restaurants onto the Caviar platform to give diners a one-of-a-kind variety of ordering options and create more delivery opportunities for couriers.

When we “officially” launch a restaurant we inform our diners via email, and offer a special delivery promotion to increase order volume from the restaurant we are featuring. This week, we will be running promotions with the following restaurant:

If you’re interested in being offered as many delivery opportunities as possible, you can go online in a delivery hot zone during the peak times of lunch (10-2) and dinner (5-9).

Special Delivery Promotion!

From time to time we will run special delivery promotions to our diners to encourage them to place more orders using Caviar. Get ready for the possibility of more delivery opportunities from the following restaurant:

  • From Friday, 3/13, until Friday, 3/20, we are offering a promo with Din Tai Fung from their location at 700 Bellevue Way NE # 280 in Bellevue!

That means diners will pay less on every one of their orders for one whole week!

The last time we ran a similar delivery promo to our diners we experienced a large increase in order demand from the restaurants in the promotion.

Protecting yourself and others from the Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Here is a quick list of actions you can take to prevent the spread of coronavirus:

1) Wash your hands regularly and for at least 20 seconds each time

2) If you cough or sneeze, cover it with a tissue or your elbow - never your hands

3) If you feel sick, please stay home

You can read more in our FAQ. You can also stay up to date on the latest information by visiting the Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s website at cdc.gov.

No Contact Deliveries

Some customers may prefer a No Contact Delivery, and you may begin to see these requests more frequently.

What is a No Contact Delivery?

A No Contact delivery is one in which the customer asks that you leave the order in a safe, agreed-upon location and wait for them to pick up the food. In these deliveries, you’ll skip handing them the food directly, while still completing your delivery in full.

How do I know if a customer requested a No Contact delivery?

You’ll see this in the Drop off instructions, just as they would specify details for you in a traditional order. Common requests include front porch stoops and in front of apartment doors.

What do I need to do to complete a No Contact delivery?

  • Follow the customer instructions (as usual!), making special note of any “Drop off instructions” listed for the address when you arrive.
  • Take a photo of the food in its designated dropoff location, and text it to your customer.
  • Walk back a comfortable distance, and wait until the customer has picked up the food.
  • Upon pickup, mark as delivered, and continue delivering as usual
