Special Delivery Promotion!

Occasionally we team up with restaurant partners to run special delivery promotions to our diners to encourage them to place more orders using Caviar. Get ready for the possibility of more delivery opportunities this week from the following restaurant:

• From Friday, 2/28, until Friday, 3/6, we are offering a diner promo with Joe & The Juice from all of their locations that we partner with!

That means diners will pay less on every one of their orders for an entire week!

The last time we ran a similar delivery promo to our diners we experienced a large increase in order demand from the restaurants in the promotion.

New Restaurant Launches!!

We’re digging deep, working hard to sign restaurants onto the Caviar platform to give diners a one-of-a-kind variety of ordering options and create more delivery opportunities for couriers.

When we “officially” launch a restaurant we inform our diners via email, and offer a special delivery promotion to increase order volume from the restaurant we are featuring. This week, we will be running promotions with the following restaurants:

District Taco from their 6 locations at:

• 4600 Wisconsin Ave NW
• 5723 Lee Hwy in Arlington
• 656 Pennsylvania Ave SE
• 1919 M St. NW
• 1500 Wilson Blvd in Arlington
• 1309 F St NW

If you’re interested in being offered as many delivery opportunities as possible, you can go online in a delivery hot zone during the peak times of lunch (10-2) and dinner (5-9).

Courier Pro Tip Video Submissions!

From 2/20/2020 to 3/5/2020, we are conducting round 2 of our courier pro tip video submission contest! We want to know: What do you know now that you wish you knew as a new courier?

The best video will be featured to the national courier audience and immortalized on our FAQ page. The video’s creator will win a smart watch of their choice (Apple or Samsung).

Just in case sharing your wisdom for the betterment of courierkind is not enough motivation… every courier who submits a video will also be entered into a raffle to win $100.

The winning video will be selected based on a few criteria:

1. How well did you share your knowledge with other couriers?
2. How much did you make us laugh?
3. How creatively did you rep your city?

We’ve included submission guidelines below. Click the button below to submit your video.

Video Guidelines

Here are some guidelines. All of them must be followed in order for your video to be considered. In other words, if you don’t follow one of these guidelines, your video will be rejected.

• Time limit: your video must be under 60 seconds.
• Equipment: anything goes! Just keep it no budget (we recommend using your smartphone camera.)
• Video formats accepted: .mov and .mp4.
• Try your best to have good sound. Record in a quiet environment – or if you’re on the road then talk extra loud and clear. Speaking of being on the road: we will not accept any video submissions of couriers who are actively walking, biking, scooting, or driving – for your own safety, and the safety of others.
• Be funny. Show us your personality. Show us your city!
• Don’t do anything you wouldn’t want your grandma to see. You can be funny and also still represent yourself respectfully on camera.
• Videos must be submitted by 11:59 PM PST on Thursday, 3/5/2020.

You may submit as many videos as you want, but each courier will only receive one entry to the raffle. So even if you submit 100 videos, you still get one raffle entry.
