Local Tids & Bits

Special Delivery Promotion!

From time to time we like to run special delivery promotions to our diners to encourage them to place more orders using Caviar.

Starting on Tuesday, 11/19, we are offering a promo from all of our restaurant partners for two days. That means diners will pay less on every order from every restaurant in Seattle Eastside! Are you ready?!

The last time we ran a similar delivery promo to our diners we experienced a large increase in order demand.

If you are a courier who is interested in being assigned as many orders as possible, you can go online in one of our hot zones during the busy times of lunch (10-2) and dinner (5-9).

New In-App Earnings Reporting

In an effort to make courier earnings easier to track, we are rolling out a new Earnings Report screen in the Payout History section of your app. The new Earnings Report is live in your app now- you may have already noticed it. Let’s walk through what we’ve updated to make your earnings more visible to you.

New Daily Dashboard

With this update the first screen you see when you open your app will have a more thorough breakdown of your daily earnings. You will see your total earnings for the day (including Base Pay, Milestones, Peak Pay, and Adjustments) as well as your customer tips and the number of orders completed. It can take up to two hours for Milestones and Customer Tips to update.

This is what it will look like:

Updated Pay History

The updated Earnings Report page in the courier app will now display more detailed information on your weekly and monthly earnings. You will see your total earnings as well as the number of orders you’ve completed and your average earnings per order.

In the monthly earnings section, apart from total earnings, orders completed, and average earnings per order, you will see a graphic that breaks your earnings down by category. You will be able to see how much of what you earned came from Customer Tips, Base Pay, Milestones, Peak Pay, and Adjustments. Below the graph illustrating your monthly earnings, you can click on individual weeks to see your weekly earnings report.

Here’s what that looks like:

In the weekly earnings section, apart from total earnings, orders completed, and average earnings per order, you will see a graph of your earnings by day of week followed by a break down of each order you completed. You can scroll through each order you completed to see how much you earned in Base Pay and Customer Tips.

Here’s what that looks like:

Thank you to all of the couriers who have helped us test this new interface over the past couple of months. We hope that the new interface helps couriers to better track their earnings and get the most out of their time delivering with Caviar.

That will be that for this edition of the Weekly Caviar Newsletter, everyone!

We hope you found it to be full of helpful info!
