Average Pay Per Order Guarantee: A Reminder
We’ve seen an increase in support inquiries with couriers asking about the guarantee bonuses they occasionally receive. Now seems like a good time to review our pay per order guarantee policy for Marin.
Caviar guarantees that you will make at least $15.00 per order averaged across the orders you complete each week from Monday to Sunday. This amount includes base pay, tips, Peak Pay, Milestones, and adjustments. We may change or end these guarantees at any time.
As an example, if you deliver 10 orders during the week and your total earnings, including base pay, tips, Peak Pay, Milestones, and adjustments, do not equal at least $150, we will apply a bonus so that your earnings total $150. Couriers whose earnings already equal $15.00 or more per order, as averaged across the entire week, are not eligible for guarantees.
Each Monday we will calculate how much you made per order for the previous week (including base pay, tips, Peak Pay, Milestones, and adjustments), and apply a bonus to your payout to ensure your earnings equal at least the guaranteed amount.

What is a conundrum?! Merriam Webster’s dictionary defines it as “an intricate and difficult problem”. We think that definition perfectly describes the decision diners are going to have to make when trying to choose which restaurant they want to order from this week. Good thing for them that they don’t have to choose just one.
That’s right! Starting Thursday, 10/17, we will be offering a special delivery promotion code to all of our diners on delectable treats from every restaurant on the Caviar platform!!! It is common for order demand to spike when we offer diners a chance to place orders with a discount. That means the coming weekend should offer a great opportunity for couriers to cash in!

This month we are offering a promotion from one of our super popular partners, and diners are ordering away!
For all of October, we are offering special pricing to diners on all orders from Sol Food at 401 Miller Ave in Mill Valley. We’re telling all of our customers about it and we think there will continue to be a significant increase in order volume coming form their location.
Sol Food would like you to know that they have a couple friendly requests for you to keep in mind when picking up from their location. You can view Pick Up notes in the courier app when you arrive at the restaurant’s location.
Couriers who want to maximize their time online can improve their chances of being assigned as many orders as possible by going online in one of our hot zones during the peaks of lunch (10-2) and dinner (5-9).
You can view the current hot zones in Marin by clicking the map icon on the bottom right hand corner of your courier app’s screen.
