Average Pay Per Order Guarantee: A Reminder
We’ve seen an increase in support inquiries with couriers asking about the guarantee bonuses they occasionally receive. Now seems like a good time to review our pay per order guarantee policy for Boston.
Caviar guarantees that you will make at least $10.00 per order averaged across the orders you complete each week from Monday to Sunday. This amount includes base pay, tips, Peak Pay, Milestones, and adjustments. We may change or end these guarantees at any time.
As an example, if you deliver 18 orders during the week and your total earnings, including base pay, tips, Peak Pay, Milestones, and adjustments, do not equal at least $180, we will apply a bonus so that your earnings total $180. Couriers whose earnings already equal $10.00 or more per order, as averaged across the entire week, are not eligible for guarantees.
Each Monday we will calculate how much you made per order for the previous week (including base pay, tips, Peak Pay, Milestones, and adjustments), and apply a bonus to your payout to ensure your earnings equal at least the guaranteed amount.

What is a conundrum?! Merriam Webster’s dictionary defines it as “an intricate and difficult problem”. We think that definition perfectly describes the decision diners are going to have to make when trying to choose which restaurant they want to order from this week. Good thing for them that they don’t have to choose just one.
That’s right! Starting Thursday, 10/17, we will be offering a special delivery promotion code to all of our diners on delectable treats from every restaurant on the Caviar platform!!! It is common for order demand to spike when we offer diners a chance to place orders with a discount. That means the coming weekend should offer a great opportunity for couriers to cash in!
New Restaurant Launch!
We are constantly on the move, working to bring popular, craveworthy restaurants onto the Caviar platform to give diners a delicious variety of ordering options and create more orders for couriers.
When we “officially” launch a restaurant we let our diners know via email, and offer a special delivery promotion to increase order volume from the restaurant we are featuring. This week, we will be running promotions with the following restaurant:
- RUKA at 505 Washington Street.
If you are a courier who is interested in being assigned as many orders as possible (perhaps even from RUKA), you can go online in one of our hot zones during the busy times of lunch (10-2) and dinner (5-9).
