Local Tids & Bits
This is the section of the weekly newsletter where we’ll keep you up to date on important local happenings.
We’ll let you know about things like special promotions we’re offering to diners that might increase order volume, or launches with new restaurant partners. We’ll also clue you in to new app features or updates to the service region.
From time to time we might include helpful reminders about thermal bag usage or in depth notes about special pick up instructions from one of our restaurant partners.
We hope that the information in this section helps you to get the most out of the time you spend online with Caviar!
Hot Zones & Busy Times
Let’s start this first newsletter off with a quick reminder about Caviar’s hot zones and busy times.
We’re tiptoeing through the typically-slow month of August as we creep up the busy season that tends to start soon after Labor Day each year. It is more important than ever during these times of decreased order demand to think about when and where couriers can go online to get the most out of their time with Caviar.
The times of the day when Caviar experiences its highest order demand is lunch and dinner. Going online from 10AM-2PM and 5PM-9PM will help you to be assigned as many orders as possible towards your milestone goals.
Wondering where to go online to be assigned those orders during our busy lunch and dinner shifts? We are currently experiencing higher-than-normal order demand (especially during the dinner shifts) in the neighborhoods of SoMa/Mid-Market, FiDi, Richmond, and Sunset.
You can view the current hot zones in San Francisco by clicking the map icon on the bottom right hand corner of your Courier app’s screen. Going online in those areas can put you in the best location to rake in those peak time orders and increase your earnings.
