We’re writing today to highlight an important update to the Courier Agreement that all Couriers who work with Caviar signed starting [DATE].
By signing the new Courier Agreement you agreed “to make deliveries using equipment — such as an adequately sized thermally insulated delivery bag sufficient to keep orders at the appropriate temperature”.
In other words: as a Courier who delivers with Caviar, you agree to use the right equipment – like a thermal bag – when you pick up and deliver an order. Not using a thermal bag when you pick up food from a restaurant or deliver an order to your diner is a violation of your contract and can lead to a violation being issued to your account.
Getting food safely to diners at the right temperature is a high priority for restaurants and a high priority for your diners. Proper use of thermal bags allows you to connect crave-worthy, exclusive restaurants to your hungry diners who come to Caviar for a second-to-none food ordering experience. Using a thermal bag is critical to getting that right.
